Turkish artist made the world's smallest 0.35 inch chess ...
A Turkish artist who specializes in making small items has created the world's smallest chess, but it has not yet been entered in the Guinness Book of World Records. The length and width of this chess is 0.35 inches by 0.35 inches.
Made by Nikati Korkmaz, this chess is twice as small as the current world record. Nikati made this chess by working 6 hours every day for 6 months. Nikati says this microscopic chess is usable.
To play chess, players need a microscope and a special stick. More than 40 Nikati microscopic works of art are on display at the Nikati Korkmaz Micro Miniature Art Center and Exhibition Area in Koshadasi, Turkey. Nikati says he will provide evidence to the Guinness Book of World Records to set a world record for microscopic chess. The world's smallest chess is currently 0.6 inches long by 0.6 inches wide.
It was created by American artist Ara Ghazarin
